Subsurface evaluation

Venture Tank Co. is licensed by the NJDEP through the underground storage tank program for closure and subsurface evaluation, which allows us to complete the entire job from sampling the soil and ground water to submitting the report to the NJDEP for closure.

Remediation

The goal of remediation is to obtain an NFA (No Further Action) letter from the NJDEP. There are several different ways to remediate from biological remediation to chemical remediation to the traditional excavating. Regardless of which process is used, the goal is the same, to get the soil and ground water (if impacted) below the NJDEP action levels and obtain a NFA letter from the NJDEP. We provide custom tailored plans for each and every job, from the structural support plans to the best soil and ground water remediation options to make sure we will achieve our goal of securing a NFA letter on your property.

Emergency Response

Venture Tank Co. is prepared to respond to environmental emergencies involving product discharged on land or in water. We specialize in containment and remediation of contamination caused by tank leaks, overfills and spills by delivery drivers.

Soil remediation

Venture Tank Co. is prepared with an arsenal of equipment if soil remediation is needed. All contaminated soil is shipped to a NJDEP certified facility and clean, certified fill is installed to make sure there are no problems in the future.

Groundwater remediation

When necessary, Venture Tank Co. can obtain an on scene coordinator permit from the NJDEP, which allows us to pump out the contaminated ground water, treat it to the NJDEP specifications, and discharge it to the local storm drain.

Structural support

Venture Tank is a dealer/installer for Fasteel Helical Piers so there is no downtime waiting for a subcontractor to come to the job. We are experts in several different ways to support your structure while excavating the tank and/or the soil including the helical piers, steels beams and concrete piers. If there are no existing footings, it is not a problem. We have installed footings on several older homes and successfully supported the home in place. Our engineers will design a custom support plan for every project before any work is performed.
